INTRODUCING: A SPECIALIZED PROGRAM
The 8th Note Path
A Preparation & Integration Model for Transformative Healing Experiences
Most mental health and rehab centers actively discourage Indigenous healing traditions and plant medicine exploration. While some retreat settings may serve people well in seeking personal insight and growth, they are often not designed or equipped to address the clinical complexity, risk factors, and support needs that can accompany complex mental health challenges.
For those seeking to pursue these experiences, our cross-disciplinary team helps them prepare safely, including risk assessment, nervous system regulation, and where appropriate, medically supervised medication management. The period following an experience can bring heightened mental health vulnerability, but also meaningful therapeutic opportunity.
Emerging research suggests certain psychoactive compounds create a period of increased neuroplasticity—a potential window to build and reinforce new perspectives, motivations, and behaviors. Our integration approach is designed around the vulnerability and opportunity of this critical period.
IMPORTANT
We do not administer Indigenous medicines. Our role is focused on appropriate assessment, preparation, clinical safety, and structured integration before and after the experience.
